You know what I realize...I'm not a fan of deliberately saying "ish" in your rhymes instead of "shit".  Just say "shit" and reverse it..or say another word all together.

GOOD MUSIC...FIND IT YOUR DAMN SELF!!!

I'm posting this for a few reasons. For one, this is truly a great album. It's been out since 2004 and I still constantly go back to it playing the songs like I just heard them. I popped in the CD while I was driving the other day and was like "this is some good music". It's interesting that there are so many people that still know nothing about this album. It just shows me that there is some really good music out there that is not presented to us on a grand scale. It's a shame but it's real. So many of us complain about the radio and how it's a short list of songs that get played X-amount of times a day. ..until the next group of "hot" songs come out and the cycle is repeated over and over. We all just have to realize that we are no longer going to be presented with "good" music from the radio...at least not on a consistent basis. But believe me there is no shortage of quality music. We just have to find it ourselves. And it's not a hard thing to do at all. It might have been harder years ago. But with EVERYdamnTHING being on the internet, we can all find our definition of "good" music....and this album right here is my definition of it.

Another reason for this post is that I love this cover. It's not often (if ever) that an album, which is primarily hip hop, has a cover like this (forgive me if there are and I'm not aware). It gives off the feeling of young innocent love..eventhough the album is not all about relationships. It's simple but effective. Can you imagine A Rick Ross Album cover looking like this??? I can defintely appreciate the imagery.

The last reason I'm posting this is because Foreign Exchange is planning to release another album titled "Leave it all behind". Needless to say I am looking forward to hearing what Nicolay and Phonte has to offer on this project. I have no doubt I will be pleased. If you haven't heard "Connected"...do yourself a favor...familiarize yourself.

Below is the video for "Sincere", a song off the "Connected" album (and one of my favorite songs on the joint)...which by the way I just saw last year for the first time.
