"VH1 has announced the five honorees for their fifth annual “VH1 Hip Hop Honors,” Cypress Hill, De La Soul, Slick Rick, Naughty By Nature and Too $hort. Hosted once again by Tracy Morgan, this year’s musical celebration will give viewers a chance to step back and reminisce on a time when hip hop music began to make its greatest impact on American pop culture. Premiering on Tuesday, October 7 at 10PM*, generations of hip hop will bridge the gap for one exceptional night to set it off with the original style and flavor that sparked a revolution and continues to fuel an evolution around the world. Additional performances and appearances will be announced shortly."

Don't Play with my emotions Dre!
I saw this last week."Dr. Dre's long-awaited album 'Detox' may finally see the light of day before 2009. Recently the famed producer revealed to USA Today that he's looking to release the project in November or December. As for the album's delay, Dre simply blames it on his perfectionist ways. "We have an entirely new thing going with the drums that's incredible, and we're still developing that," he explained to USA Today. Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Nas, Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent are expected to appear on the highly anticipated album. "
So besides creating $350 headphones, Dre has finally decided to release DETOX. Man listen, I'm sure many of you like me are looking forward to this project. The anticipation for his albums are crazy. The bad thing is if it's anything less than FLAWLESS...people are gonna get at him. Remember people it's music.
